  • One session with me typically lasts about 50 to 60 minutes.

  • Some topics can be resolved in just a few sessions, while more complex questions may require multiple appointments. You determine the frequency and number of sessions – depending on how much time and space you need to achieve your goal.

  • My goal is not only to offer you short-term relief, but also to enable and strengthen you in the long term so that you can face future challenges independently and confidently.

When is couples Counseling or therapy useful?

Systemic couples counseling is useful, among other things, if you and your partner feel you have reached a point in your relationship where communication, understanding, closeness, and sexuality have stalled. If you sense that your relationship needs support to break entrenched patterns and create a deeper connection, or if you'd like support through a separation process that is constructive for everyone involved.

How much time should I plan for COuples Counseling?

  • The duration of couples counseling or therapy depends on the individual needs and goals pursued by the partners.

  • A session typically lasts about 90 to 120 minutes to give both partners sufficient time for exchange and reflection.

  • Some couples find new solutions after just a few sessions, while others require more intensive support over a longer period. Overall, couples counseling is usually relatively short; more than 10-15 sessions are rare.

  • We recommend scheduling regular appointments at the beginning of the counseling session to get the process started. We flexibly adapt the frequency and duration of the sessions to your progress and needs. The goal is to help you maintain a stable and fulfilling long-term relationship in which both partners can grow.
